Michigan Justice Fund
I designed the brand identity for the Michigan Justice Fund, a funders' collaborative that supports community-driven alternatives to incarceration in Michigan.
Background
The Michigan Justice Fund is a funders' collaborative that seeks to make investments that help stem the criminal justice pipeline, support the investment of public dollars to community-driven alternatives to incarceration, and ensure that those returning home after incarceration receive the support they need to flourish.
The Michigan Justice Fund contains Michigan-based and national funders dedicated to advancing justice reform and the economic mobility of individuals with criminal convictions in Michigan. The Fund is housed at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan (CFSEM), a multi-faceted, full-service philanthropic organization leading the way to positive change in Southeast Michigan.
My Role
As a freelance designer, I worked with Room for Magic to create the Michigan Justice Fund’s brand identity and guidelines.
More specifically, I
Led the design process for the organization's rebrand, ensured visual alignment with the parent organization (CFSEM)
Created a brand system with social media templates, an investor deck, photography treatment, and more
Similar to Michigan Justice Fund
I guided the Public Policy Lab through a rebrand and website redesign and led public sector research and design projects addressing homelessness, healthcare, and the digital divide.
